While conventional treatment methods (for everything ranging from depression to weight-loss to phobias to pain to trauma) are helpful, they don’t quite deliver. I love western analytical psychology and salute all the good therapists out there. Yet the reality is: Conventional psychology, in of itself, is quite powerless in resolving deep emotional issues. On the other side of the river is the entire gamut of “energy healing” methods with their roots typically in ancient eastern mystical traditions. These methods are commonly lumped into “alternative healing.” Unless it’s from a skilled practitioner, Energy Work can be rather vague in its application and effectiveness.
Personally, I’ll take “alternative” over “mainstream” almost any day of the week. Yet truth is: It really comes down to the practitioner more than the technique. For you’ll find effective and not-so-effective practitioners on both sides of the camp.
Question: What might we get if we could marry western analytical psychology with eastern energy work? Answer: Energy psychology (aka meridian psychology). East meets the west!
There are many techniques in the new and emerging field of energy psychology, and they all do the same thing: Engage your underlying energy system along with your mind. And therein lies the power of energy psychology. These new techniques are often able to diffuse problems within minutes where traditional Talk Therapy can take years to make much headway. My personal favorite energy psychology technique is EFT, which I often combine with other healing methods. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. Founded by Gary Craig, EFT is both simple and effective. It is at the forefront of the new breed of meridian-based Energy Psychology techniques.

Who am I?
To answer that, lemme first tell you who I’m NOT. I’m not a physician. I’m not a therapist. I’m not a psychologist. I have a degree in software engineering and have functioned as a corporate consultant for many years. But ever since a motorcycle wreck back in 1990 nearly killed me and left me paralyzed waist-down, I became extremely interested in healing.
So who am I now? I’m a COACH. An intuitive coach. A self-improvement coach. A personal development coach. A nutrition coach. A health coach. A performance coach…. In short, you can call me a “life coach.”
Here’s how I work:
When using energy pyschology with my clients, I lean heavily on insight and intuition. After all, the Wisefool believes that an ounce of insight is superior to a pound of knowledge. While knowledge is well and good, the lack of it need not keep one from gaining insight into the problem at hand. While one-minute miracles abound in the emerging realm of energy-psychology, for more difficult issues these techniques are only as effective as the insights we gain into the problem at hand. Intuition-driven insight allow me to get to the core issues behind your problem. Core issues often get masked by surface symptoms.
Also, the more you’re able to engage your emotions when using energy psychology, the faster their resolution. Since thoughts trigger emotions, language is key. So the choice of words and phrasing becomes very important. Insight and intuition are powerful allies in this entire process.
In addition to energy psychology, I employ my knowledge of Ayurved (ancient Indian system of healing), Astrology (ancient science of self-knowledge), Feng-Shui (ancient art/science of harmony), and Toning (sound healing).
How much will it cost? How long will it take?
It depends. I charge, not by the hour, but by RESULTS. Every client is different; every issue (though familiar) is different. Your first session with me will go towards figuring out what it is you want to change about you and what it’ll cost you. After that, we’ll identify and establish your goals. I’ll quote you a price, estimate the time it’ll take, establish a weekly session schedule… and we’ll go for it. A typical session takes about an hour — and it can be done over the phone. (Phone-sessions have a unique advantage over face-to-face sessions: They create more focus. There are fewer distractions with a phone-session. Plus you don’t have to drive or fly to come see me.)
Once we’ve established the game-plan, I’ll need you to put down a deposit to get started. The balance is payable when your goal is accomplished. Otherwise you’ll owe nothing and I’ll refund your deposit back to you. It’s very likely that I’ll have homework assignments for you between our sessions. Should you fail to keep these simple assignments, and furthermore if this continuing lapse on your part keeps us from reaching your goals — you stand to forfeit your initial deposit. My point is: I absolutely expect you to do your assignments between sessions.

Notes:
I am NOT a licensed physician or a therapist. Coaching is not a replacement for professional care. Energy-psychology work offers impressive results for most people. But there’s no guarantee it’ll achieve your goals or that it’ll be as painless at it is for others. Please consult your physician and/or therapist regarding your use of energy-psychology.
