How to celebrate food…and never diet again. E-V-E-R.

Let’s face it, few of us have any control over the food we eat. We don’t control food; food controls us. Or so it seems.

Is it possible that the flaw lies with our need for control itself? After all, your need for “control” is rooted in fear. “Mastery” (of anything), on the other hand, hinges entirely on friendship. And what’s friendship if not a healthy relationship.

Your life is a web of relationships. Everything and everyone in your life is not a “thing,” but part of a relationship. And food is no exception. Not only do you have a “relationship” with food, this relationship is a primordial one.

“Primordial” — because it is the first relationship you formed with something outside of you. Another primordial relationship you formed early on in your life was the one your body. All your other relationships in life have been built upon these primordial relationships. Does it not follow therefore that when you master your “relationship” with food (which is to say, be-friend your food), you’ll automatically improve all your other relationships in life?
