Feng Shui your Mind

mind

Feng Shui this:

Where does your mind end and your body begin? You don’t know, you say. Well, neither do I nor does anybody else. This is because, as we now know, your mind and body are inseparable.

And what about you and your home? Where do you end and your house begin? The WiseFool says none other than YOU can answer this — because your home is but an expression of your mind!

Lemme repeat that:
Your home is an expression of your mind.

Whoa! Can you imagine what that means?

It means several things:-

  • Your home may be, as George Carlin would put it, “just a pile of stuff with a lid on it.” Or it could be ALIVE! The choice is yours.
  • Your home can tell you all you want to know about — you.
  • If you change, so will your home.

While all the above are interesting, it’s the last one that takes the cake: If you change your mind, it will change your home. But the reverse is just as true: If you change your home, it will change your mind.

Now the WiseFool, who is all for self-transformation, has no interest in expendingfairytale-house1 more effort than is necessary to accomplish anything in life. In his thinking, laziness is a virtue — if you know how to use it.

All self-transformation is about taking a look at one’s thoughts and changing them. But anyone who attempted this will tell you that it is anything but easy. Trying to get a handle on your thoughts is like trying to nail jello to the wall.

That’s why it is so much easier to work “outside in.” Just change your personal space (aka home), and this will automatically change the way you think.
